Cousin Lizzie's Beautiful Poem

Cousin Lizzie from Oregon wrote Abby a poem that we just had to share.

"There are many ways I love my cosin abby, she is a babby and I love her she is beautful girl you can't dought that! You look into her eyes and you say it is a mericle because even know she lives in washington we stil stay is touch and it fells good to knowyou have someone to talk to even know she can't talk. Her hands feel like a tiny bird fether. when I see a drop of tears rolling down her eyes it makes me feel like I have been searching for her for days,and it makes me sad not seeing her smileing face of wisdome.i know I will see her smileing face once again in one month of hope."

Happy 1st Father's Day, Daddy!

What do I do now?

We've had a pretty busy weekend and I can't believe it's already over - back to work tomorrow! The funny thing is that I actually like my job and things are going pretty well right now at work, but every Monday I think of all the 'other' things I could be getting done if I didn't have to go into the office. Of course, working ensures we continue to get to do the other things...so it's a double-edged sword really :) I hope all of you had a good weekend as well - here's hoping that the weather gets nicer very soon!

Abby has been working on her leg muscles for a while and she's starting to stand by herself up against the couch. She doesn't show any interest in getting up to a standing position on her own, but once you put her up there she does really well. It's the getting down part that is the challenge.

We were at the North Bend outlet malls this weekend and it got so cold I had to buy Abby a new hat...look what 25 cents at an outlet mall will buy you!!!

There shall be teeth!!

After three weeks of trying we finally got a shot of Abby's two front teeth (along with a little bit of carrot)...SMILE!





This weekend was so great we had the chance to play outside in the pool...well, there wasn't any water in it, but the frog sure did create a lot of shade. It's good to be a baby :-)
