Abby decided today that my water bottle was her new bottle. She realized right away what she should do with it...right to the mouth!

We had a little scare earlier this month when Abby got sick and we had to take her to the emergency room at Swedish hospital. Luckily, she was diagnosed with a simple chest infection. However, one of the nice things that did happen was she got weighed; she's 20lbs and 1oz :) She's doing great and loving life!

Abby can sit up!!!

Abby decided to sit up by herself today. She's given it a shot over the last month, but usually leans forward and folds in half. Today, she actually was able sit up and hang out without falling over (for a few minutes)!

She's 5 months old and almost 2 weeks old.

Park Fun!

Abby went to the park and took a swing this weekend :) She wasn't very happy at first, but once she got into the "swing" of things she really had lots of fun. The only hat that fits over her little ears is a frog stocking cap I bought her at the Rainforest Cafe a few months ago. It makes me laugh whenever I see it on her!

I can't wait until Spring and Summer are here so she can be outside more often. As it is right now when she's out in the sunlight she squints like she's never seen sun before!

Abby rolled over today for the first time! She was laying on the floor in her bedroom waiting to get dressed for bed and decided that it would be a good time to roll on over. We're very proud of her :-)

This picture makes me laugh. I don't think she could look anymore like Greg if she tried. I swear she's going to have curly hair, so that will bring a little mom into her look!!!



I'm sure she will get even with someday for the following pictures, but they're the best representation of how much she has grown over the last four months. The first picture is of her very first bath at home (only 4 days old) and the second picture is of one week ago at 17lbs 10oz and 25 inches long!!
